External Description:

For a large Financial services client, we are seeking a SAS Business Analyst with experience with Mortgage Servicingprocesses, to analyze various SAS jobs (reporting, research, analytics) to prepare for migration from an Oracle to a Netezza enterprise data warehouse.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document the functionality of a number of SAS-based jobs supporting mortgage servicing processes in production, which have evolved with a variety of code changes over time.
  • Draft proposed Requirements from the review of the existing code for the SAS jobs
  • Discuss and resolve the proposed documentation of the requirements with subject experts, including quantitative analytics managers.

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of experiencewith SAS coding to be able to analyze and document the functionality that the code is designed to achieve.
  • Corresponding experience with SQL is strongly desired.
  • Understanding ofsoftware development lifecycle discipline and the associated controls over coding and application documentation.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with on-site and remote team members in dynamic environment.
  • Experience with mortgage servicing business processes, scorecards and/or servicing analytics area big plus.
